- We talk you through it. Before we touch anything, we explain exactly what we are going to do, step by step.
- See your ears first. We show you a clear still image of your ears on screen, so you can see the wax before we begin.
- Gentle microsuction. We remove the wax by suction, giving you clear instructions and staying in communication with you throughout.
- See the difference. We show you your ears again, this time with a clear view to your eardrums indicating a successful treatment — and if you would like, a complimentary hearing test to finish off. Start to finish, about 30 minutes.

Common questions
Do I need to use olive oil for two weeks first?
No. That is the old syringing routine. For microsuction, a drop of olive oil the night before is plenty, and often not needed at all. Just book and come in.
Does it hurt?
No. Most people find it painless and even oddly satisfying. You will hear the suction, but it is quick and gentle.
How long does it take?
About 30 minutes for both ears, and you leave with your ears clear the same visit.
What if there is no wax to remove?
We examine both ears and tell you honestly. If there is nothing to treat, we explain what is going on and point you the right way.
